RECOMMENDATION:
Approve additional application period ending May 31, 2024 for the 2024 Beautification Matching Grant Program.
SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Only 3 applications were received in the initial application period for the 2024 Beautification Matching Grant Program. Multiple commissioners expressed a desire to allow for additional applications to be considered.
Having a second application period ending on May 31, 2024 would allow applicants able time to put together proposals and would allow the Beautification Commission to approve additional grants at their regular meeting on June 5, 2024.
