SUMMARY STATEMENT:
When commissioners outlined and prioritized goals in 2023, one of the ideas with broad support from the Commission was to expand local spring clean-up efforts.
The possibility of having a large dumpster (or dumpsters) that rotated between neighborhoods was discussed- similar to the dumpsters used by code enforcement. The goal of having a rotating dumpster would be to encourage residents to clean-up yards and to remove items that were broken or no longer useable.
Commissioner Weaver asked that this discussion item be brought up, since it is timely to plan for with the change in seasons.
