Renovate Alpine Woods Park and Robe River Park Shelters. Complete structural repair summaries, cutoff timber posts 3’ above finish grade, remove upper structure, pour new pedestals/structural slabs on grade and re-attach upper structures to new foundations.

Construction Schedule: Contractor has until August 1, 2023 to complete work.

Bidding: Three quotes were received, one from Harris Sand and Gravel, Inc., one from CMH Construction, LLC, one from Wolverine Summit JV.

Engineers Estimate: Under $150,000.00 dollars.

Liquidated Damages: One Hundred dollars ($100.00) for each calendar day in excess of the completion date specified in the written Notice to Proceed in which this project remains incomplete.

Additive alternate #1 was for similar repairs to the Glacier Campground Shelter but there is insufficient budget to perform the work. The Glacier Campground shelter is in better condition than Robe and Alpine and the required repairs can be completed in-house with the Parks Maintenance team. The foundation replacement was a preventative measure at this site.
