SUMMARY STATEMENT:
• The 2022 Local Utility Inflation Assistance (LUNA) Program is a one-time $550 payout to energy providers on behalf of qualifying applicants
• 2022 LUNA Report Attachment contains the following:
o Application Process Timeline
§ W-9s will be available at City Hall for the duration of the application period
o Communications Plan and Timeline
§ Developed in conjunction with the Communications Director
• Staff anticipates payment to utility providers by July 31st, 2022
o This is adequate time to adjust for set-offs prior to disbursement pursuant to Municipal Code 3.04.060
• All Applicants must deliver a signed W-9 to be eligible for the program
