SUMMARY STATEMENT:

A significant portion of the snow from the apartment complex parking lot as well as some from East Hanagita will be pushed to the north as designated on the preliminary plat.

To accommodate snow removal and building heights and setbacks for the new Senior Housing near the hospital the powerlines on lot 3 should be raised. Raising the power and communications lines will eliminate risk of hitting the lines with snow removal equipment and will provide “breathing room” for the apartment complex adjacent to the electrical right of way.

CVEA is the owner of the power lines and is the only entity allowed to make adjustments to their infrastructure. The estimate is based on a time and materials basis and may not expend the entirety of the nearly $119k.

CVEA confirmed they did seek out quotes for the work on their part to ensure best value.
