RECOMMENDATION:
Approval contract amendment #1 with North Pacific Fuel for Citywide Fuel Supply
SUMMARY STATEMENT:
This amendment extends the fuel supply contract with North Pacific Fuel through May 31, 2023. The original contract was bid in 2019 with an initial two-year term and three available option years. The recommendation is to execute two of the option years now and re-evaluate in 2023.
North Pacific Fuel supplies diesel fuel for the City equipment fleet as well as heating oil and propane for all the City facilities; inclusive of facilities owned by the City but operated by others like the Museum, Hospital, and Schools, for the same contract price.
