SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee (CPAC) will meet on February 18th to review the first draft sections of the forthcoming Comprehensive Plan. During their March meeting, the CPAC will review the remaining sections prior to release of the draft plan for Council review and public input in April.
City staff are planning a final focus group session at the recommendation of CPAC members. This session will likely occur the week of February 22nd and will target local business leaders who were unable to participate in the focus group session of Discovery Month.
On February 24th the Corvus team will hold a work session with the Planning & Zoning Commission to discuss future land use recommendations within the plan.
The timeline for the Comprehensive Plan revision titled ‘Plan Valdez’ is attached. The draft plan is anticipated in April 2021, with a final plan available this summer for adoption in August or September 2021.
