SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Mayor and City Council requested a work session for the purpose of discussing the requirement of masking or cloth face coverings in public settings where social distancing measures are difficult to maintain.
For purpose of discussion, I have attached the Municipality of Anchorage Proclamation of Emergency Order Requirement for Masks and Cloth Face Coverings, the previous Valdez Mandate 003 which previously died for lack of a motion by the council, and a new draft Valdez mandate as requested by Council Member Devens.
