SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Project Description: This project will resurface the streets of the Robe River Subdivision, excluding those repaved in 2019. Project scope also includes improvements to storm water in known problem areas.
There are two Additional Alternates included with this project.
Additional Alternate 1: Pave Aurora Street & Borealis Street. These currently unpaved streets are part of the Robe River Subdivision. The cost of this additional work is $166,877.00, which is included in the expenditure required amount in the Fiscal Notes.
Additional Alternate 2: Repave the existing basketball court along River Drive. The cost of this additional work is $10,560.50, which is included in the expenditure required amount in the Fiscal Notes.
Construction Schedule: The Contractor has until October 31, 2020 to complete the work for this project.
Liquidated Damages: $1,000 per day.
Bidding: Two responsive bids were received by the bid opening deadline for this project. There were no non-responsive bids for this project. With the local bidder preference applied, Harris Sand & Gravel, Inc. was the low bid, and was approximately 27% below the Engineer's Estimate.
Engineer's Estimate: $2,008,050.00 (includes both additional alternates)
