As we look forward to implementation of the 2020 goals for the Planning & Zoning Commission, a large part of the focus will be on the Comprehensive Plan revision. This long term planning document will help guide the land use decisions for the City in the future and Staff will look to the commission for guidance and input through the revision process. Many of the goals cited by the commission in past years should be incorporated in the comprehensive plan update. Prior to the work session, commissioners may find it helpful to review the attached 2008 Comprehensive Plan, as well as the Planning & Zoning Commission code and guidelines.
