SUMMARY STATEMENT:

The Museum staff & board have worked with the Capital Facilities department to continue evaluating sites for a future museum. Additionally, architectural firm ECI/HYER was contracted to assist with evaluating the short listed sites, vet the existing programming documents, and provide site fit and rough order of magnitude cost estimates. In this work session with Council the Museum and City staff will present the following in an effort to elect a final site for a new museum:

                     Past efforts - Museum Master Interpretative plan (2016), 2017 -2018 site selection process

                     Current  efforts - Program & site vetting, community surveys / open house

                     Future efforts - Final site determination, conceptual design, fund raising
