SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Change order #2 on the VCT Electrical Upgrades consists of the installation of 2” spare conduits within the conduit trenches needed for the project scope. The VCT Camera project and grant were approved after the initiation of this project and these spare conduits will be utilized for that purpose. There was greater risk and expense to the City to excavate the trenches twice in the same area.
The remaining VCT camera scope will be bid out as a separate project in the future and contain additional trenching outside the VCT Electrical Upgrades footprint.
