Approve Contract with CentralSquare Technologies for 911 Phone System Refresh in the Amount of $184,360.72
SUMMARY STATEMENT:
5 year refresh to current VOIP 911 System. Using newly implemented dark fiber this will expand phone system city wide. Several city buildings have phones systems over 15 years and in need of replacement.
• Upgrade 911 to current industry standards
• Geolocation diversification of 911 services
• Upgrade to take advantage of RapidSOS GPS 911 Call / Text Locator intergradation.
• Replace 8 older analog systems in current City buildings.
• Expand service to new City buildings and locations.
• Increase functionality and system flow City Wide.
• Easier management of phone system
• Lower cost expansion.
• Lower yearly maintenance then current systems.
