SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Continuation of discussion from April 29th task force meeting.
Consensus on April 29th was that the task force wants to keep the monument. However it was not discussed if the task force wanted to keep the monument in its current location or move it to another related area. Identification of ownership and who is responsible for maintenance also needs to be discussed.
Consensus on April 29th was that the task force would like to either demolish or fix/move the kiosk and asked Ms. Murphy to look into what that would entail. Discussion today will revolve about what can be done and then what the task force would like to recommend be done. Discussion will also include if the work on this area/kiosk/etc. could be incorporated into waterfront master planning and tied to the boardwalk by the salmon turnaround?
