RECOMMENDATION:
Approve professional services agreement with Grace Jang Solutions, LLC in an amount not to exceed $45,000
SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The city council previously reviewed a proposal submitted by Grace Jang Solutions LLC to develop and execute a strategic communications and coalition engagement plan in response to Governor Mike Dunleavy’s proposal to eliminate a municipality’s ability to tax oil and gas exploration, production and infrastructure (SB 57/HB 59).
Attached is a professional services agreement with Grace Jang Solutions. Formal communications products, such as talking points, fact sheets, and news releases, will continue to be submitted to council for review throughout the term of this contract.
Routine public information office duties such as logistical arrangements associated with planned meetings and events, outreach and response to news media, and distribution of communications products for review and publication will continue to be administered by the City Clerk’s Office/PIO.
