SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Proclamation naming March 27, 2019 as Earthquake Remembrance Day in Valdez, honoring those lives lost as a result of the March 27, 1964 earthquake.
The Pioneers of Alaska will hold a ceremony to remember those lost by reading of names, a prayer, and a moment of silence on March 27th at 5:30 p.m. at the John Kelsey Municipal Dock. The public is invited to attend.
