RECOMMENDATION:

Approve Amendment to Approved Physician Recruitment and Retention Contract with Dr. Parin Seakit, Allowing for Annual Retroactive Pro-Rated Increases to Recruitment/Retention Payments Not to Exceed $60,000 Annually, in Total.

SUMMARY STATEMENT:

Summary:

•                     This document amends the contract with Dr. Parin Seakit, which was approved on January 15th.

•                     The original contract specifies a pro-rated payment reflecting a part-time engagement of 26% of full-time.

•                     The amendment allows for an annual retroactive increase to the payments to Dr. Seakit, should he work more than the 26% full-time specified in the original contract.

•                     The final adjusted annual payments will not exceed $60,000.

•                     The City Attorney has drafted this contract amendment.
