SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Council had a priorities workshop 2 weeks ago pertaining to the budget. Housing was brought up. I am working on a short term housing plan to get 3 separate sections of city owned property platted, surveyed and appraised and out on the market. This is going to be a time consuming project as the last piece of property I submitted for the above took 6 months. This is through no fault of Community Development. It took 4 months to get a survey and two to get an appraisal. Last I spoke they were looking for new surveyors and appraisers.
