RECOMMENDATION:
Approve Resolution #17-50, adopting the 2018 budget for the City of Valdez, Alaska and appropriating monies for that budget
SUMMARY STATEMENT:
This resolution formalizes the 2018 appropriations.
The figures reflect an increase of 5.6 authorized full-time equivalent employees, as well as a 1.5% cost of living adjustment, to be applied to the City’s salary/wage scale.
This agenda item allows for Council to forward amendments to the budget as presented, which will be tabulated by staff and incorporated into the final figures specified in the resolution.
Following adoption, staff will incorporate the departmental summaries and work-plans into a final document for publication and distribution.
