Approval to Purchase 2017 Aries Mobile Pathfinder Sewer Camera with Accessories from Aries Industries, Inc. in the Amount of $51,650.00
SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Mobile Pathfinder Sewer Camera will be replacing a 1998 Aries Sewer camera. Our current camera head leaks causing it to fog up, the gears are stripped out, the lights are shorting out, the software can no longer be updated, the recordings freeze up and the screen blacks out. We have done as much as we can to make it this far, but it’s just worn out.
We solicited three bids, and advertised in the paper. The Aries Mobile Pathfinder Sewer Camera was chosen not only because it was the low bid but for its proven reliability. We have used this brand for over 19 years; they have a great parts and tech department. But with technology ever changing it comes to a point when you have to upgrade and we are there.
This camera bid comes with, a tool kit, parts kit, extra wheels, a rear view camera, zoom lens, self cleaning lens, training and shipping FOB Valdez.
