SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The City Ports & Harbor Director, Community Development Director, a Ports & Harbor Commissioner, and several City Council Members attended the North to Alaska Symposium in Alberta, Canada in early September. During the Symposium, City representatives gave a presentation on the Valdez option for Canadian shipping.
Mayor Knight asked that the presentation also be given during tonight’s work session.
Handouts of the presentation will be provided.
For time management purposes, the presentation will follow the goal setting portion of the work session.
