SUMMARY STATEMENT:
In your packet is a map for your review to identify viable vacant city owned land that is suitable for public/private development. Attached is a map that describes 2 parcels, approximately 2 acres each adjacent to Sound View apartments.
There are many other parcels owned by the city but were eliminated as either unsuitable in size, a designated snow lot or would be costly to bring water and/or sewer to the sites.
Not included, is Aleutian Village as it is still under private management. It can be considered as a possible future option as it has water and sewer to the site, is flat and level and over 24 acres in size.
