RECOMMENDATION:
Administration recommends approval of renewal of liquor licenses.
SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Alcohol Beverage Control Board has received applications for renewal of liquor licenses from the following:
Fu Kung Restaurant
Glacier Sound Inn
Three Bears Alaska, Inc.
Totem Inn - Board Room
The ABC Board is required to notify the local government body to allow them the opportunity to protest the approval of an application as required under AS 04.11.520. If a protest is filed, the board will not approve the application unless it finds that the protest is arbitrary, capricious and unreasonable. Affirmative action by the council on the approval of a liquor license renewal authorizes the City Clerk to send a letter of no objection to the ABC Board.
