RECOMMENDATION:
Approve a 1-year contract extension to Gulf Coast in the amount of $130,089 for janitorial services.
SUMMARY STATEMENT:
As approved in the 2017 budget and allowable by the terms of the contract, this is a one year extension to contract no. 1233.GC. The amendment will extend janitorial services through 2017 for the following locations: City Hall, Council Chambers, Vehicle Maintenance Facilities, Baler Break Room, Building Maintenance Facility, Police Department, Mary Kevin Gilson Medical Center, and the Baler Building. The extension includes a 3% increase over 2016 contract cost. The total cost of the 2017 agreement with Gulf Coast, Inc. is $130,089.00.
