RECOMMENDATION:
Approve contract award to Capitol Hill Consulting Group for 2017 federal lobbyist services in the amount of $36,750.
SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Capitol Hill Consulting Group just completed its eighth year as the city’s lobbyist at the Federal level. The City’s principal lobbyists from this firm are Jack Victory and Stratton Edwards. Mr. Victory and Mr. Edward’s assistance is necessary to assist the city manager in monitoring and pursuing federal legislative, capital and administrative initiatives in DC. The contract amount has remained unchanged since initially contracted.
