RECOMMENDATION:
Appoint four applicants to serve on the Providence Valdez Medical Center Health Advisory Council.
SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Four vacancies currently exist on the PVMC HAC due to term expiration. Appointees will each serve three year terms, expiring in October 2019.
The City Clerk’s office advertised the vacancies and received six applications:
1. Tabitha J. Gregory
2. Jim Nygaard
3. Matthew Ficek
4. Dan O’Connor
5. Pam Shirrell
6. Ruth E. Knight
As Mayor Knight appears as a candidate for appointment, she must recuse herself from the discussion and vote on this agenda item.
