Expenditure Required: $300,000 total; $60,000 per year for five years

SUMMARY STATEMENT:

•                     The referenced “SHARP III” cost code is the source funding for the “physicians recruitment and retention” program initiated by Council in 2018.

•                     The attached contract is for the newest addition to the Valdez Clinic’s staff, Dr. Tyler M. Sherban, whose employ began in August of 2021.

•                     The contract reflects the first-year payment of $60K within sixty days of contract execution.  Years two through five of the contract will entail quarterly payments of $15K, pro-rated for less than full-time work (if necessary).

•                     Payments are remitted when invoiced by the supervising physician.  Invoices attest to work status and scope. 

•                     Drs. Sherban and Todd will be present at the December 7^th meeting.
