SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Barney Meyring Park Strip was a recipient of a Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) grant. The LWCF is a federal grant program administered by the U.S. Department of Interior and National Park Service which requires a sponsor to maintain the assisted site in perpetuity for public outdoor recreation purposes per the LWCF Act of 1965. This grant restriction prohibits Willow Park Apartments from being eligible to purchase a portion of the park strip they have been leasing for supplemental off-street parking.
