SUMMARY STATEMENT:

Attached is a flyer for the upcoming T3 STEAMFest at Prince William Sound College - A Showcase of Mariculture, Maritime Careers, Drones, and Makerspace Opportunities.

The T3 STEAMFest, a dynamic event designed to engage students, educators, professionals, and the local community in the exciting fields of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM), is set to take place at Prince William Sound College from April 3rd to April 6th. The event will feature hands-on experiences, workshops, and discussions centered around four key areas: Mariculture, Maritime Careers, Drones, and Makerspaces.

Mariculture: Attendees will explore the sustainable practices and innovative technologies driving Alaska’s growing aquaculture industry.

Maritime Careers: Participants can learn about the diverse career opportunities within Alaska’s maritime sector, featuring industry professionals and experts.

Drones: A focus on drone technology, its applications in environmental monitoring, industry advancements, and the exciting potential for students and professionals as well.

Makerspace: Interactive sessions and demonstrations encouraging creativity, design, and hands-on learning for all ages.

Expected outcomes for participants of STEAMFest:

                     Provide valuable networking opportunities for students, educators, and professionals in the STEAM fields.
