RECOMMENDATION:
Approve extension of Snow Removal Contract Extension with Dunning Enterprises for Area IV for a term of two years.
SUMMARY STATEMENT:
This was a two year contract with a onetime two year renewal option, which may be exercised by the City contingent on funding and approval by City Council.
The Public Works Department has contacted this contractor with its intentions to exercise the two year renewal option which Dunning Enterprises accepted. This decision was based on receiving minimal complaints, and a quick response to complaints that did come in. Throughout the past two snow seasons Dunning Enterprises has demonstrated the ability to provide quality snow removal services in accordance with the terms of their contract.
Area IV consists of: Salmonberry Ski Hill, Cummings Way, Kodiak Cove, and the turn outs at the entrances to Deep Lake Drive and Corbin Loop Road.
All terms and condition contained in the Snow Removal Service Contract dated the 22nd day of September, 2014 will apply to this extension and run from October 15th, 2016 to June 15th, 2018.
