No formal action will be taken at this session. Staff requests that Commissioners provide input and discussion points for inclusion in the draft Post-Season Operational Review.
SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Goal 5 of the Ports & Harbors Commission’s 2025–2026 Goals directs the Commission to focus on seasonal operations and continuous improvement by evaluating harbor, port, and airport performance during the peak summer season.
As part of this effort, on behalf of the Commission staff has begun to distributed a public outreach letter requesting general comments on 2025 operations, inviting feedback from recreational boaters, commercial operators, airport tenants, stakeholders and the community at large.
This work session provides Commissioners with the opportunity to:
- Discuss their own operational observations and experiences from the 2025 season.
- Review community, staff, and stakeholder comments received to date.
- Identify key challenges, successes, and areas for improvement across Harbor, Port, and Airport operations.
Findings from this session will form the foundation of the Commission’s Post-Season Operational Review, which will be finalized and presented for adoption at the October 20, 2025 regular meeting.
