SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Fire station 1 hazmat remediation and ventilation upgrades design. Wolf Architecture, Inc. will design, inspect, and oversee repairs to Fire Station 1 for the City of Valdez. Design scope includes remediation of known and suspected mold contamination in wall and ceiling assemblies at decontamination room and adjoining spaces; remediation of known and suspected asbestos in areas of work; design for improvements and new ventilation in decontamination room and residential dormitory; and design of new vehicle exhaust system for garage bays 2 and 3.
The intent is to design a modular exhaust capture system that can be retrofitted to other shop/station facilities as needed.
