SUMMARY STATEMENT:
In discussions on project ideas and priorities in recent years one of the ideas discussed by the Beautification Commission has been the concept of a boardwalk into the Duck Flats to benefit locals and visitors. The envisioned trail would allow access to additional natural spaces and increase the aesthetic appeal of the community.
The Beautification is interested in looking at this project more carefully and the goal of this work session is to discuss the concept with and receive feedback from the Parks and Recreation Commission.
Beautification Staff Liaison will briefly provide some additional details at the start of the meeting on options for project timeline and funding, as well as some regulatory considerations. Beautification Chair Nielsen will share the vision for the project and facilitate the discussion.
