SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Alderwood water connections were completed by two contractors, Keith’s Plumbing & Valley Mechanical. Both had contracts for time and materials reimbursement in amounts not to exceed $40,000. Valley started work first in September and took on some of the more challenging units. In total, two change orders were issued to Valley for additional time and materials required to complete the work:
Change order #1 - $14,000
Change Order #2 - $35,000.
In total, only $70,600.81 of the potential $89,000 was expended.
