SUMMARY STATEMENT:

At the time of the bid opening for 2022 Janitorial Services, a number of buildings were not awarded due to budget constraints. A Request for Proposals was then published for those non-awarded buildings. After reviewing submitted Request for Proposal Quote Schedules for 2022 Janitorial Services, X-DLX Investment Corp has been awarded the In-Town Group at $68,750.00, which includes the Harbormaster Building Upstairs Offices and Downstairs Restrooms, B-Float and New Harbor Comfort Stations, New Harbor Warehouse Office and Staff Restroom, New Harbor Warehouse Public Laundry, New Harbor Warehouse Public Restrooms/Showers, and Seasonal Comfort Stations (5); and the Out-of-Town Group at $11,660.00, which includes the Seasonal Outhouses (4) and Goldfield Restrooms.

For the information of Council, the following totals illustrate the amount spent on Janitorial services City wide from all contracts for 2017-2022. Increases can be attributed to: added offices at airport, new harbor, increased COVID cleanings, new fire station, added janitorial at swimming pool, increased contractor supplied products, labor pay increases.
