SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The attachment reflects staff’s proposed timeline for initiating the tax foreclosure process for all delinquent property taxes as of 12/31/2015. This process has not been undertaken since 2012.
Though this process has historically been initiated in January, staff proposes initiating this process annually in the fall, as it entails the least conflict with other ongoing obligations of the property tax staff.
