RECOMMENDATION:
Accept resignation from the City Library Board (Mary Jo Evans)
SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Mary Jo Evans tendered her resignation from the City Library Board by email. The resignation letter (attached) was then forwarded to the City Clerk’s Office for processing and is being provided to City Council for formal acceptance.
The City Clerk’s Office will begin advertising to fill the vacancy. Citizens interested in serving on the Library Board are encouraged to submit an application through the City boards and commission portal: www.valdezak.gov/boardsandcommissions <http://www.valdezak.gov/boardsandcommissions>. Paper applications are also available at City Hall.
