RECOMMENDATION:
Appoint one applicant to serve a four-year term on the Alaska Gasline Port Authority (AGPA) board of directors.
SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Valdez City Council appoints three representatives to sit on the AGPA board of directors. Board members must be registered voters within the State of Alaska, reside within the state, and serve at the pleasure of the City Council.
One vacancy currently exists on the AGPA board of directors (Valdez representative) due to term expiration.
The City Clerk’s office advertised the vacancy and received two applications:
