SUMMARY STATEMENT:

The purchase of a Mitsubishi FG25 Forklift with 269 hours was completed for a total cost of $48,101.05. This procurement was not conducted through a competitive bid or proposal, as the equipment was only available from a single dealer, and no other bids or offers were received. The forklift is a new addition to the fleet and will support operational needs within Public Works.

As required by Valdez Municipal Code 2.80.040, this report serves as formal notification to the city council of a budgeted procurement between $40,000 and $100,000 that does not require council approval.
