RECOMMENDATION:
Approve a contract with Trust Consultants for 2017 State lobbyist services.
SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The City of Valdez has utilized the services of Kim Hutchinson as our State Lobbyist for
more than 20 years. Mr. Hutchinson has done an outstanding job of assisting the City
in our legislative efforts during each of those years. During this time, the City has
benefited from state assistance in amounts significantly more than the cost for these
services. Mr. Hutchinson’s continued efforts are vital to ensure that the City’s interests
are adequately represented in Juneau.
