SUMMARY STATEMENT:
City of Valdez staff are currently in the process of implementation for AchieveIt, a plans management software. AchieveIt will be used to track and document progress on various plans, including the Comprehensive Plan, The Parks & Recreation Master Plan, the Waterfront Master Plan, and the Economic Strategic Plan. Additionally, staff is exploring options for utilizing this tool for other priorities and key performance indicators in the future.
Daniel Griffin, Senior Strategy Consultant at AchieveIt will be visiting Valdez to provide training to city staff as a part of the initial launch of the tool. He will be presenting the tool to City Council to demonstrate both how it will be utilized internally by staff and how the various dashboards and reporting tools will be used to provide information and updates to City Council and the residents of Valdez.
