RECOMMENDATION:
Allow for the payment and completion of Seed Media Digital recruitment campaign.
SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The contract is for professional services provided by Seed Media to assist the City of Valdez in creating a recruitment website for the Valdez Police Department. This website creation is necessary to compete with the current high demand for quality applicants in the field of Law Enforcement.
Seed Media was selected as the most advantageous provider due to their familiarity with VPD and the local community, expertise in website development, and availability to complete the project locally.
This procurement report is provided in accordance with Valdez Municipal Code 2.80.040 Approval of City Council Required-Procurements. As the procurement amount exceeds $40,000 but does not exceed $100,000 and is a budgeted contractual service, city council approval is not required. However, notification to the council through this report is necessary.
