SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Beautification Commission drafted a letter to City Council and the City Manager to discuss park strip maintenance and beautification needs. They noted significant public input on the state of the parkstrips, specifically the Black Gold Parkstrip and deterioration of the soil and ground cover. The goal of this work session is to brainstorm options for coordinated efforts between COV departments, contractors and community volunteers and to discuss options for improving the parkstrips.
